Let dive into the Album Review: Olamide – Carpe Die

The first song “Another Level” is very similar to his 2017 hit “Wavy Level“. P.Prime produced the song and certainly didn’t do a bad job at all. made sure the song had a melodious rhythm along with a beat one can’t resist but vibe to. There no arguing this is certainly the best song anyone will use to start an album and Olamide never disappointed.

Green Light” gave us another insight to who Olamide is, not the street rapper we know. The song saw Olamide rap and sings lovingly to his girl to give him the greenlight he has been requesting for. It is certainly one of the best song in the album.

The much anticipated collaboration between Olamide and omah lay is finally here. The award winning rapper Olamide features fast rising star omah lay on this track titled ” Infinity“. The collaboration is one fans of both artist have been asking for all year long. The both star gave us a mid tempo slow track hit with the great vocals of omah lay, this track is one you shouldn’t miss.

What is an Olamide album without a street vibe, a song the street can vibe to. “Eru” sees Olamide give us that street vibe, and the song was produced by P prime. The rhythm of the song is one of the best you need to hear, no artist can make such melodious rhythm like Olamide and Pprime. Eru is the second single on this album.

This track “Triumphant”was made especially for fans to listen and relax. The song was produced by pheelz and his connection with Olamide was great. The track sees Olamide featuring Bella Shmurda. The song has a strong message that will inspire a lot of young people in our society.

Stream Audio: “At Your Service” Below-

At your service sees Olamide give his fans a thrilling performance that is energetic. On this track, Olamide also declares his love for his woman and he doesn’t let obstacles stop him. This track is certainly on of the most beautiful song you will hear from Olamide.

This is another electrifying street jam Do Betterfrom Olamide on this album. Again. there’s no Olamide without the street, hence the reason he focuses on them. The track could hear Olamide giving us some street vibe that anyone will readily dance to. This song is too electrifying and thrilling, you’d be dancing while listening to it.

Chimichanga” is just a regular song we hear every day. Olamide didn’t really come to the party on this track. This for me would be one of the poor song on this album. Olamide didn’t put much into this song for me.

This is the track where Olamide features his best friend Phyno. Phyno didn’t disappoint as he gave us some Igbo rap and made the song really great. It a jam fans are loving, we just can’t over the two always coming together to give us hit.

Olamide features BadBoyTimz from South-African, giving us some south African song. The song is titled “ loading “. With a different vibe to it, this song is surely one of the best tracks on this album.

Unconditionally” saw Olamide collaborate with Peruzzi of DMW. Peruzzi brought a different vibe to the album with his sweet and romantic vocals, coupled with Olamide rap, the music is just great.

The track Plenty saw Olamide feature his protege Fireboy Dml. The song was produced by pheelz and it surely is a hit if you’d ask me. Fireboy didn’t disappoint as he brought his a game and made this track a thrilling one.
