Laycon who is best known for his rap, didn’t disappoint on this album. He made the album one that will contend with the big guys in the industry.

“Who Is Laycon?” EP contains 8 hot tracks and features great artist like Reminisce, Tinu, Chinko Ekun and Deshinor, making it a hit to look out for. The EP is currently sitting No.3 on Apple Music just about 48hrs of laycon being the big brother house.

Laycon real names are Olamilekan Moshood Agbeleshe, he was born on 8th of November 1993.  Laycon is a rapper, singer and songwriter. And now the winner of Big Brother Naija season 5. Laycon was given the post of youth ambassador of Ogun State, by the state governor. 

Who is laycon EP, talks Alot about the rapper. His humble beginning and how he got to fame. It also takes about some societal issue facing the country. With the most popular song being “Fierce”, a names his fans are being called.

• THE QUESTION (INTRO)

This is the first song off the ep. It starts with a girl talking to laycon. She starts by saying let start from where we finished. Then laycon responded and said ok. She went on to ask him ” who is laycon”. The the dong ended there. Being an intro, I think it is just perfect. 

• WHO IS LAYCON

This song is very inspirational as it talks about the experience of laycon while in the big brother house. The song is made from a man reciting the story. The recited spoke at length about how laycon was treated badly by other housemates in the big brother house. He went on to narrate how lay on surprised every housemate the next day, and it changes how they all saw him.

• HIP-HOP (FEAT. DESHINOR)

This is another interesting song off the EP. Laycon features Deshinor on this track. The song literally talks about hip-hop songs. Laycon can be heard rapping on this song and he killed it for me. He talks about people telling him that he won’t make money off rapping. In the song, laycon calls out those supporting hip-hop telling them he’s made it through rapping. It stands a chance of being the best song on the EP.

• ACCOLADES (FEAT. YUSUF KAN BIA)

Laycon features Yusuf Kan Bai on this track where they both talk about the love they have for their girl. They both profess strong love for love for the girl, appreciating her beauty and telling her that she deserves some accolades for being so beautiful and lovely. It was a mid tempo love song with some unique background instrument. Such a nice song from laycon!!!

• COME WITH ME

Another love song off the “Who is laycon” EP. Laycon dishes out another thrilling love lyrics on this one. He reportedly told his girlfriend that he will always love her even if she don’t accept him now. Laycon keeps begging his girl to not play with him as he his ready to be her shield and guide.

• NARCOS (FEAT. YUSUF KAN BIA)

Another thrilling song from the EP with a great hit. Laycon features Yusuf Kan Bai on this one. The both singers talk about being great in what they do. It was more like a self hype song. They talk about killing shows and getting likes from girls and boys hailing them. Laycon definitely has great talent. I so love this song. 

• MOTIVATION (FEAT. TINU)

In this song laycon talks about what motivates him daily to be a better person. He features Tinu on this track and it was really great and inspirational. He talked at length about every one doing good being his motivation. Laycon is really a start with brains. 

• FIERCE (FEAT. REMINISCE & CHINKO EKUN)

Save the best for the last. And that’s what we have done here. Save the best for the last. Fierce is the biggest and dopest song off the album where laycon features Reminisce and Chinko Ekun. The song talk about his fan base calling them the “fierce” nation. Fans love this song so much that it was the official them of his fans while he was in the big brother house. 

EP Rating So Far

Laycon has showed everybody that it not you can chose to be who you want to be Irrespective of your background, age or status. Laycon was at first underrated, but now loved by all. The EP is great, with the dopest song being fierce. Laycon surely deserves an award for what he did on this EP. The people he featured too did great with the song. For me the EP is a hit.
