Music Review: Wizkid – No Stress

The Award-winning artiste, Wizkid, popularly known as Star Boy or Wizzy has released a new song titled “No stress” in anticipation of his album, “Made in Lagos“, which is said to be released on 15th of October.

The release of the song was announced on Wizkid Twitter account.

When the year started, fans were anticipating the release of the made in Lagos 2, but instead Wizkid dropped a single titled ‘Smile’ where he features Grammy-winning American singer and songwriter, H.E.R.

However, it seems the album is finally set to be released on the 15th of October this year. The cover for the album has been made by his team.

The Music Review Wizkid – No Stress

“No Stress” has been receiving a lot of positive reviews from both fans and critics. The song is being rated 5 stars as it is calm and give the vibe it is titled, no stress. Fans have taken to Wizkid social media account to applaud him for the gentleness and calmness of the song unlike what Davido did on his recently released

Lot of music lovers have contributed their opinion on the song and some noting the fact that Wizkid ignored the trend and created some thing unique and cool. Wizkid is known for making this types of cool and calm songs.

The theme of the song centers around men satisfying their women on bed and not giving them stress. It focuses on sexual happenings in the bed room and he talks extensively on the subject matter in the song. The intro of the song seemed like Wizkid was doing a rap but along he got into the singing that we know him for. Tho full of some sexual words the music is somehow no radio friendly. Wizkid made use of some real sexual words in the song that might need to be graded 18+.

Since the release of the song, it has received lot of positive reviews from his fans. Though some might say it a competition with Davido FEM and Burna boys twice at’s tall album. A Lot of music lovers can’t help but just compare the three artists as they are currently the biggest stars in the Nigerian music industry.

Wizkid tells a story of satisfying his girl most especially on bed and giving her no stress. He talks about his girl who like no stress, and confirms that only starboy satisfy her and she only want him. He talks about how she also testify that only Wizkid keeps her warm when she’s cold. 

The song might be new, but it is already getting a high stream rate on social media, it has also started getting airplay on radio stations all over the country.
