Step ( 1)
Ensured to Screenshot all previous chats across any messaging app use for the transaction such as (IG and WhatsApp or FB).
Example on facebook as shown below-
Make sure you Write out the person Full name and bank account number and social media page like Facebook.
Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the “TRANSACTION ID NUMBER”. Example as shown below
Write out the scammers bank name (the bank the scammer uses) and Email of the bank, example first bank and email address or UBA and email address.
Go to the scammers bank and ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD
If possible, If you can print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it them.
Note: CBN FRAUD DESK email address (firstname.lastname@example.org). While still in scammer bank send email to the bank and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (email@example.com,this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.
