Greenlight is a mid tempo song where the rapper talks about love and giving attention to his girl unlike the “Eru” which is a street party jam. 

This is just a feel good track from Olamids. The track was short and precise. Olamide did well not to stuff lot of lyrics instead he made it short and very thrilling. It has the potential of being a hit within a few weeks of released more to come. All you just need to do is to sing along with the track.

Off the album comes the single Greenlight where the rapper talks about the feelings he has for his girl, asking her to agree for him as he is ready to care of her in other words asking her to give home the greenlight.

Greenlight is a mid tempo afro beat song, Olamide infuses his rap along with singing for his girl. Olamide keeps on emphasising that he is waiting for the greenlight from his girl. He continues telling his girl his feelings with some nice words.

Fans on social media has testified to loving the song and saying it one classic rap love song Olamide did well and didn’t disappoint. Olamide in a recent interview declared that he has a number of songs he his working on and would release before the year runs out. 

This song certainly can win the best song of the year 2020 award. For me the creating of the song was so unique and and quite very thrilling. The mixture of the instruments made it even more unique and dazzling to listen and vibe to.

Olamide whose real name is Olamide Adedeji is a singer-songwriter and Yoruba rapper. Olamide is popularly called ‘Olamide Baddo’ or ‘Baddo Sneh’. Olamide founded YBNL Records, where he produced great artist like; Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Viktoh, Lyta, DJ Enimoney and Fireboy. 

Olamide raps and sings both in Yoruba, and English language. Olamide has earned lots of Awards to his name and released more than 20 hit songs with 9 studio albums; ‘Rhapsodi’, ‘YBNL, ‘Street OT’, ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth’, ‘2Kings’, ‘Eyan MayWeather’, ‘The Glory’ and many more hits.

In February, Olamide dropped an EP titled “999” which created a massive buzz in the Nigerian music industry.

Olamide shocked fans with another release of an album he titled “carpet Diem” on the 1st of October 2020. He made the announcement of his official IG account. The 12 track album saw Olamide feature artist like Bella Shmurda, Omah Lay, Phyno, Peruzzi, Bad Boy Timz, and his signee, Fireboy DML.
