Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Joeboy come through with a brand new single titled “Lonely“.

The new single “Lonely” was released after he was featured in the song “Slow burner” by Larry Gaaga. Joeboy has also over the period of the year released hit singles in interval period.

The “Baby” crooner was beginning to lay low a little bit, especially as the competition from other young artist in the industry became stiffer. Joeboy is always known to give his fan good lovely song and he definitely doesn’t disappoint on “lonely”, Joeboy is by far one of the biggest new artist who came into the music scene as a complete underdog, but as of today joeboy is gradually getting into the A list rank of artist in the Nigeria music industry. Such tremendous growth is nothing but just fascinating to behold. Such a great young artist.

Joeboy real names are as followed Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and was discovered by Mr.Eazi “Empawa Africa” record label in 2017.Joeboy genre of music is that of Afro pop and R&B but his recently released hit single “Lonely”

The rise of the artist in the industry has been so wonderful with the young singer, releasing hit after hit every year. Joeboy has been one new artist in the industry that you can’t resist but just love him. On comparing this song to his last hit, it only shows that joeboy  has been improving on his sound. Joeboy  has really worked on his music and have made sure he keeps producing hit after hit. This is just great to see from a new artist in the industry. From releasing Baby to Beginning, Joeboy is nothing but great talent.

About the song he talks about being lonely and missing his girl. This song certainly can win the best song of the year 2020 award. For me the creating of the song was so unique and and quite very thrilling. The mixture of the instruments made it even more unique and dazzling to listen and vibe to.

The song starts with a melodious underground guitar playing, while Joeboy starts his lyrics to the beat. It a kindda of mid tempo Afrobeat song that is both a relaxing and party vibe. Joeboy sure do know how to cook up this kind of song, just great if you ask me. Lonely might not seem to have hit the bull eye in terms of how hot it was but certainly lonely is nothing but a feel good song. It melody, beat and rythimic along with joeboy voice just made it even more a sound lovely tune you just have to relax and enjoy. 

The singer talks about not wanting to be lonely tonight this therefore begging his girl to come to him immediately as he is about loosing it. Joeboy mention that he has drinks and everything in his place for her to feel comfortable and that there’s no girl near him that’s like his girl. The song was so well crafted that you just can’t resist but get to sing along to while it is being played. Most people might think this is just hyping,

Joeboy has been on a steady rise in the entertainment industry it will come as no surprise if he rises to be the next Davido or Wizkid.

The unique lyrics and vocals of Joeboy just made this song a potential hit. His vocals were calm and marvelous coupled with the beat of the song.

Lonely for me was kind of emotional, and that alone was great due to the fact that we get to see a different side of Joeboy that is not the usual love boy. Joeboy hit single with DJ Neptune “Nobody” is certainly a much bigger hit than lonely but lonely has a different touch and feeling when being hear. Such a great massive tune from Joeboy.

With just few hours of it release, the song has started receiving hundreds of download and stream on online streaming platforms. It possible that over the next two weeks the song would have raked in millions of view on YouTube and thousands of streams.
